Thrive X is a multi-week programme designed for high school-aged teens who feel disconnected from traditional education. By focusing on students with moderate to chronic attendance issues, Thrive X aims to improve attendance rates and help students recognise the value of regular school participation.
Thrive X explores the reasons behinds disengagement and unlocks students' potential through key entrepreneurial competencies. The programme combines entrepreneurship and creative skills to provide a well-rounded skill set applicable to various aspects of life. With a dynamic approach focusing on introspective learning and hands-on activities, students engage in creative expression, teamwork, and critical thinking culminating in a team project. This method allows students to gain practical skills and confidence for future success. Offering experimental learning in both school and community spaces, Thrive X emphasises resilience and the importance of problem-solving and self-management.
Thrive X involves a collaborative effort between schools, creative hubs and community services, providing a strong support system. The programme aims to leave a lasting impact on students' attitudes towards their learning, helping them understand themselves better and navigate their educational journey with the tools needed to thrive academically, personally and professionally. Continuous measurement and evaluation ensure the programme's effectiveness and improvement.
