With live music, lawn games, food trucks and stalls, this year’s festival was a melting pot of activity.
Hosted by Youth Voices Action, the goal for #YouthFest was to connect local rangatahi and other organisations with initiatives that our young people both want to see and champion themselves.
Amidst the fun, a few of our budding entrepreneurs and their YES companies seized the opportunity to shine, as they proudly showcased their innovative products and business ventures.
For these aspiring entrepreneurs, #YouthFest was more than just a platform to promote their products; it was a chance to connect with their audience, receive invaluable feedback, and gain exposure in a supportive environment. Amidst the lively atmosphere, they engaged in meaningful conversations, eagerly sharing their stories and aspirations with fellow festival-goers.
What truly stood out, however, was not just the quality of their products, but the poise and professionalism with which these young entrepreneurs conducted themselves. With confidence andenthusiasm, they represented their businesses with a maturity beyond their years, leaving a lasting impression on all who encountered them.
It looks like this year’s YES regional competition, comprising a total of 41 YES companies, will be one to keep an eye out for!
